Wi-fi module combines LoRa and BLE

A twin combo module from CWD, the CBTLRM02, helps each LoRa and Bluetooth Low Power for wirelessly connecting IoT gadgets to the cloud. The multiprotocol, low-power module offers world LoRaWAN protection for such purposes as sensible metering, asset monitoring, house automation, healthcare, and sensor networks.

Developed by CWD, an IoT design home in India, the CBTLRM02 module incorporates Semtech’s LoRa Join SX1262 transceiver for communication within the 150-MHz to 960-MHz bands and Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF52833 Bluetooth 5.3 SoC for the two.4-GHz ISM band. Together with built-in Ignion antennas, the module provides excessive knowledge charge, lengthy vary wi-fi communication at extraordinarily low energy. It helps over-the-air updates and may transmit as much as +22 dBm over LoRa and as much as +8 dBm over Bluetooth Low Power.

With 512 KB of flash and 128 KB of RAM, the module allows open-source software program stack growth to construct purposes and enterprise logic to run onboard, eliminating the necessity for an exterior microcontroller. CWD provides an utility growth suite to assist customers create their very own customized options.
